Tanzania
ORGUT has been continuously present in Tanzania for over 20 years for the implementation of short- and long-term assignments. ORGUT currently maintains a representative office in Dar es Salaam as well as project offices in Arusha, Kiteto, Babati and Dar es Salaam. ORGUT has successfully fielded individuals and teams of international and national short-term consultants in preparatory, planning, project implementation and evaluation assignments in Tanzania.
Due to its long-term presence in Tanzania, ORGUT has access to a large network with donors, government actors, consulting service providers, civil society organisations and academia and is highly familiar with the overall development trends and priorities, sector legislation, the far reaching sector reforms and the workings of the local government system and central government ministries. In 2008, ORGUT established a representative office in Dar es Salaam. The office maintains a large data base of national and regional experts, making it able to recruit local specialists for technical, logistical and administrative back-up at short notice.
